ESAD 2017 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek

Hello and welcome to my stop on today's blog hop.
As soon as I saw the chickens in the Sale-a-bration set Hey Chick I knew I had to have it. I was raised on a farm and we always had chooks and I had my own Silky hens which had feathers tops of their heads. Anyway back to now...
I coloured the hens with the new watercolour pencils. In the second card I mixed my own purple using the red and blue pencils. They are so easy to mix.

With my next 2 cards I have paired the greeting set Suite Sentiments with Stylish Stems framelits dies. I love the fact that you can cut out just the inner petals and use this on top of another colour.
I once again used the watercolour pencils to add colour to the petals behind the card front.

For this card I also aded a small strip of an embossed piece using the new Falling Petals embossing folder. Before I used the mat for behind my main card front I cut out a couple of flowers for use inside my card but then made sure that the area behind the leaf was open so I could then use the main card as my leaf colour.

Its now time to hop on over to Narelle's blog to see her beautiful creations.

ESAD Holiday Favourite Products Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog

If you are on the hop you would have come from Rebecca's lovely page.

I liked most of the sets in this holiday catalogue but I think Santa's Sleigh gets my pick for favourite.
There were so many different Z fold cards made with this set on Pinterest and mine is probably much the same as a few put together. I made the background panels by sponging with Soft Sky, Marina Mist and Night of Navy and then flicking water on to give the snowy effect. I used window sheets for the panel and stamped the reindeer with Soft Suede on Crumb Cake. The trees are Garden Green.

My second card is a case with some change, this time just an A6 card and 2 reindeer. Colours are Mint Macaron with Red sleigh and Crumb Cake reindeer as before.

That's all for today. I hope you are enjoying our blog hop.
Now it's time to hop along to the very talented Leonie's blog

If you get lost at any time there is a list of bloggers below.

These next 2 cards have used the Presents and Pinecones DSP

I have enjoyed playing with the Cookie Cutter Christmas set with the Cookie Cutter bulder punch. I have used papers from the Warmth and Cheer DSP stack. The santa hat is made using the Jolly Hat builder punch

I have used the background stamp Merry Medley for this reindeer card

It has been so exciting playing with new product from the new catalogue. I was lucky enough to stamp off a few images from the hostess set Love You Lots from a friend and then made these cards using the new nesting square framelits as well. Aren't they so cute. Of course the set is now on my wish list.

The hostess set Gift of Love is another set I really like as even though its a 3 step stamp I added some shading to give the flowers more depth. I have used paper from the Playful Pallet DSP stack.

I saw this little owl made using stamps from Swirly Bird and thought I would give him a go. Its quite amazing how many ideas I have seen using this set.

This card I made as a Tri fold card and as I had coloured and cut lots of flowers from the set Love and Affection, I decided to just glue them on the front and then cut around the edge and add some more flowers on the right flap inside. I wasn't going to buy this set but now am glad I did as I have enjoyed making cards with this.

That's all for today from me but if you hop on over to Richelle's Blog there will be more lovely projects for you to see. Have fun!

Occasions and Sale-a-Bration 2016 ESAD Blog Hop

Hi there,
I was told the other day that it had been so long since I updated my blog and yes I am guilty of that. Actually it was the last blog hop that I participated in. Maybe I need to do lots more blog hops. Well here we are at another one, The Occasions & Sale-a-bration ESAD Blog Hop.

You may have hopped here from Barbara's blog after enjoying her lovely projects or if you have started here then keep hopping on around and enjoy what each one has to show you today.
I usually use quite a few different stamp sets but today I have chosen the Rose Wonder stamp set with coordinating Rose Garden thinlet dies found on page 18 of the Occasions catalogue. Who would have guessed??

I have used a few different techniques for my cards.

This one is stamped and coloured using black for the outline and Rose Red, Marina Mist and Old Olive. I like to cut the leaves off and add them where I like.

I used my markers to ink the stamp with Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz and then coloured them using a paintbrush.

I used the die cut and sponged over the white with Rose Red and Pear Pizzazz. I couldn't find my fine tip glue pen and so the glue is a little messy on this one. You sure do need a fine tip glue to do this one.

Another stamp and colour rose this time straight onto the card front.

Using the Negative of the die cut but using the outline part for placement.
I have used a white die cut and black background and then 2 colours for the rose and also leaves and put them all together in the inlaid method and then I embossed it for extra hold.

I found these few flowers left overs from all my colouring and cutting and decided to put together another card.

Well thats all from me today but now you can hop on over to Narelle's Blog
to see what wonderful things she has to show you.
